This is how little space the packaging
takes up in your waste sorting.
All NMF mops now have new packaging made from 100% paper
Nordisk Micro昀椀ber has implemented a comprehensive change to its packaging to reduce plastic use and
promote circularity. All NMF mops are now delivered with reusable paper bands made from 100% paper,
replacing the previous plastic bags.
The new packaging is made from mono-material with clear waste sorting icons, making correct sorting
easy and increasing the chance of proper recycling.
Because all new mop packaging is based solely on mono-material (paper), it has been possible to increase
recyclability from under 30% to over 95%. Through systematic redesign and optimization, it has also been
possible to reduce the amount of packaging per product by up to 20%, meaning that resources are used
more ef昀椀ciently and the amount of waste is reduced.

Introduction & Sustainability
The change was 昀椀rst implemented in August 2024 on our OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100-certi昀椀ed basic
mops and now also covers the entire range of Nordic Swan Ecolabelled mops.
